The temperature levels in the ocean are increasing, which is another large threat. It effects all areas of the ocean and impacts other threats on the trail. Marine creatures and plants are affected, and ocean ecosystems. Higher temperatures cause coral to bleach (lose their colour) and means suitable habitats for wildlife are lost.

To complete the trail and claim your free prize* at our final stop at the Wardlaw Museum, please take the nineth letter of temperature and add to your collection of letters.
